She had to be euthanised due to internal hemorrhaging as a result of aborting her foal at 6 months along. She was the very first SE AK mare we had purchased for our Straight Egyptian breeding program. She represented our foundation. She was a very sweet natured, obedient mare and will be forever missed. Ann & Ben Rienks Shallamaara was bred by Roger and Mary Bruce of Ro-Mar Black Arabians. She represents the first off spring of the late great Shalimaar Shirah and LN Khalis Hassana, who nicked so well together in all their progeny. She is full sister to RBA Black Halimaar. An incredibly beautiful black stallion owned and standing at Ro-Mar. Thank you Roger and Mary for your assistance in locating this wonderful mare for us. |
